The Municipality of Alonissos due to various technical reasons had to cancel the Alonissos Marathon 2009 plannes for the month of June as was happening the last years.

On behalf of it a new race will be organised at September 2009 with details to be announced soon.

MARATHON / HALF-MARATHON AND 10 KM. 
MULTI TERRAIN RUN IN ALONISSOS HELD AT
4th OF JUNE 2006
FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT DAY.

The first international Multi Terrain Marathon took place in one of the most beautiful courses in the world on Saturday the 27th of May in the island of Alonissos with the support of the local Municipality. Athletes from Greece and Europe took place in the marathon, along with famous marathon runners, hyper-marathon runners with participations in the Olympic games and the international meetings, track and field champions as well as athletes of middle and long distances who love this sport.

At the 26th of July 2004, the celebrations of Agia Paraskeyi, will take place at Patitiri, one of the most important religious events in Alonissos.

We invite you to join us in the music concert with live music under the full moon at the Old Village.

  The carnival procession takes place on the last Sunday of the carnival period, which starts at the beginning of Spring and continues with the local religious festivals of Ag. Georgiou, Ag. Konstantinou e.t.c.
